About Us

A group of folks got together because Vermont has a high rate of binge drinking within the young adult (18-25 year old) population. We want to shift this situation and lower the number of folks who drink more than 4-5 drinks in an hour or two. We decided to focus on the legal drinker (over 21) and as we studied and worked with 21-25 year olds we learned so much!

We learned that no one wants to be preached to. Some folks are concerned about their own drinking patterns and some are concerned about their friends. We learned that there are so many talents and joys that want to be expressed and that sometimes alcohol gets in the way. We learned that there is a need to "know" more about one's personal alcohol use, its costs and its effects. We developed this website to meet the identified needs of young adults.
